Even The Bad Times Are Good!

good-bad-
“There are times in this life of mine
I think that the sun forgot how to shine
But as long as you’re always there
It don’t bother me ’cause why should I care
When all I’ve gotta do
Is run to you

Even the bad times are good
Soon as I get to you baby
you just gotta hold me
And even the bad times are good,”
The Tremoloes

Sure, you may be saying, but how do I get to that calm and confident place inside me, DURING the rough and unexpected times?
How do I:
– Not Panic
– Not become tense
– Keep my blood pressure steady and even
– Not project everything onto everybody
– Not get a Migraine

There is no magic potion of course, but what I have found in my life that helps me is to try to recognize the resources that ARE at my disposal during those intense hard times. During the times when I can’t take a breath and when things are chaotic and unfamiliar, when I can remember that there are places inside me that are constant and always present.

So that may be it; to find a sensation of familiarity that I can consciously remember and invite to expand, even when times are “Bad”.

So what are your personal resources that bring you back to trust and focus?

What do you practice?

What would you like to cultivate to create a Palace of Peace within you?

It is often said that the body is the Temple of the Soul.
So with this in mind, how would you like your Temple to look and feel?
Is there soft music in the background? Are the lights low? Is there a familiar face waiting for you there?

One great way to create an inner Temple is to cultivate and prepare a Palace of Peace in your home. It may be your entire home or just a small corner where you put objects of beauty that are meaningful to you. This can become the place of consistency that you can always come back to physically in order to create a similar place within you that eventually will become your inner anchor to yourself and your serenity.

If you would like help in finding your “Palace of Peace”, I heartily invite you to a 30 minute complementary session with me, to cultivate your inner Anchor of Serenity. Just drop me a line with your time zone and we’ll set it up: http://box5656.temp.domains/~rhondaea/contact-us/
