The Path

And so as we pave our way into this existence, daring to take on a form,

Let us not think it is a permanent thing,

Something to forever hang on to and BE.

For, as the path is a path, we are a path,

one of many, leading into varied roads of existence.

The path winds, gets worn, gets blown away, overgrown,

until sometimes it is indiscernible.

Our job, our way, is to strive to make the indiscernible, discernible,

finding that inner path we have brought “down” here,

our contribution to the whole and wholeness of humanity

and this existence.

Re-membering our beingness in various form,

forever changing the form,

but not the beingness.
