Ready For A Heart to Heart With Yourself?

What do you do with your pain?
What do you do with you joy?
Do you hold it inside or share it?

Does it depend on the circumstances and the people who surround you?

I would think that it would depend on those around you and that you probably choose when and who to share with.

Some people are very private and self contained, while others are more out pictured. Some need validation and acknowledgment, others do not. There is no right way to be.

What is important is allowing yourself to be who you are in your highest light in as many circumstances as possible.

So how can you accomplish this? How can you create the conditions you need to be able to express yourself fully?

Very often, life has us so completely steeped in its fast pace and what is occurring outside of ourselves, that we lose sight and sense of what is happening on the inside, in our own minds and hearts. We can get lost in so much doing, ignoring what we may need in the moment, at any given moment.

I know you have probably heard it all before, about the need to slow down and listen and be your own best friend.

Well, it really does have a beautiful, significant effect when you employ it. This doesn’t mean that you have to become a meditator, you don’t have to take classes, you don’t have to go to a special therapist.

All you have to do is take the time you would have invested going to classes and consultants and just apply it to one simple thing:
Being Present With Yourself.

Trust me, the more you can be present with yourself, to really learn and feel what it is like to be in touch with your core, your inner wisdom, the more you can be present and useful to other people. It’s just that simple.

So if you don’t want to do it for yourself (which you probably will once you get the hang of it), do it for those special ones around you. they will appreciate how much more you are with them than ever.

So try this:
– Get comfortable and take 3 cleansing breaths
– Thank yourself for the time out you are taking
– Notice any sensations, thoughts or feelings
– Acknowledge and validate them

That’s it! This short and sweet little mini vacation can do wonders to the flow of you day.
