Look Inside! 4 Tips Towards Yourself

Do you ever wonder about where you fit in the wholeness of Humanity?

Have you been on a search to find your purpose in Life?

Does frustration come up time and again because you feel off-course, unheard, unfulfilled?

You are by far not alone! So many of us have felt this way and have been on the path to Ourselves for so long.

But here’s the thing: if we are looking for ourselves, well, we had better stop looking outside and look inside instead.

Yes, asking for guidance if you are temporarily feeling off-course is definitely recommended, but only for a short time, until you are back on track.  Back on track to me, means to be back to a feeling of coherence, confidence and inner serenity.

Wow! You might say, I’ve never felt that way and I am still looking.

What I recommend to you is to learn to have quiet time to reflect, be with your favourite person, ie. Yourself, and be in a receptive mode to hear what your inner self has to say, to show you and to help you FEEL.

Feeling is the key. Without sensation and emotion, we would not be Human.

The hitch in all of this is how to do this. How to come to an inner place of enough quiet in order to be able to listen, without all the static and background noise of our endless thoughts, trying to solve, solve solve.

So how can we Dis-solve enough to come to a peaceful, inner place?

  1. Create designated quiet time for emptying out the noise. Go for a walk, sit in nature, put on music or breathe. Do anything that helps you to release some of the excess.
  2. Ask yourself how you are at this moment. You may get a word, a phrase, an image, a sensation. All of these count as valid information for you.
  3. Thank yourself for the loving attention your are giving yourself and really mean it. Love and gratitude are keys to well-being and a sense of wholeness.
  4. Share yourself with the world when you are more centered, focused, and have freed inner space within yourself. This will give you capacity to be there for others and to create more loving, deep friendships out of mutual giving and receiving.

Doing these four practices will help you center, focus and release enough to be more lovingly available to yourself and others.
