“When You Live on a Round Planet, there’s no choosing sides” /Wayne Dyer
Looking at the Middle East, it has been a grueling summer on all counts.
No matter how you look at it, the violence, rage and fear have all been in the foreground, tugging at the hearts and minds of everyone.
In addition, with the way things are playing out, it seems like there is no solution in sight and it is so easy to lose hope.
I was on the verge of barricading myself and began projecting onto the other side.
I did not recognize myself and began to become self righteous and convincing myself that the other “side” needs to be dealt with.
I felt beyond horrible and could barely believe what I myself was saying.
Then I got a glimpse of what I looked like, taking sides and convincing myself that I was right.
I was horrified to say the least.
Then a friend of mine reminded me that the reason the war was happening is to Wake Us Up and to realize that we are all in this together and that there ARE no sides, just what each of us is carrying inside, however rough or ripe it may be.
Wow, I think he saved my soul from so much more suffering. I remember now. I remember why I am here on the planet at this time, in a geographical place of incredible intensity.
I remember that Compassion Takes No Sides. There can never be Compassion in the field of Polarity. Compassion is in the field of Love and Unity. Look at our Planet. It’s round; it has no sides. I would rather honor that!
Don’t take me wrong. I am not naïve. I am here and not putting my head in the sand. I simply realize that the polarity itself tries to feed itself in any way it can, especially if we are not paying attention.
There is something paradoxical about this world and how it challenges us to remember that we actually come from Love and Unity and have agreed to live in Physicality and Polarity.
The thing is that if we forget too much, we are in danger of creating a mess. And so we have.
So let’s take a chance and see how looking at someone who wants to harm us as someone in deep pain can create a shift. Let’s see the wound and give it a chance to heal.
We know that what we’ve tried so far isn’t working and only a fool would want to continue this way.
So let’s challenge each other to consciously do at least one compassionate deed a day. I’m sure you do anyway, but if we join together doing so deliberately, we will create a wave or a field of coherence, even in a war torn area.
Trust me; I have seen many miracles happen when Compassion enters the scene.
So if you are having trouble getting past the hurt and are still feeling mistrustful and vengeful, drop me a line and I will be happy to do a 30 minute Complementary “The Passion in Compassion” session with you. Claim it here to make a personal difference in the collective weave: http://box5656.temp.domains/~rhondaea/contact-us/
Let’s create that wave of coherence together, by taking personal and mutual responsibility NOW.
Love, Peace and Blessings,
