Have you been feeling strange physically and emotionally lately?
Are you up now, down later and up again after that?
I think many of us are feeling like this.
Just yesterday morning, for no apparent reason, I woke up really achy. My knees hurt and I felt like my back had been pummeled. I was abysmally tired too and had to lie down to get some extra rest.
What, I thought, is going on?
Interestingly, a friend reminded me that today there is to be a full Lunar eclipse in America and that there had been several earthquakes in the last 12 hours. Okay, I said, now I understand my physical discomfort.
Wow, she’s really sensitive, you might say! Yes, this is true, I AM very sensitive and my point here is that our bodies register all this activity in our fluids and cells.
Interesting, no?
Our bodies are more than 70% water, which is a great conductor of vibration and frequency. We are more affected by the Earth’s stretching and changing than we may think.
Knowing all of this, what can we do to give ourselves the self care we need in order to smooth out the edges during these fluctuant times?
1. Rest:
Get plenty of rest and supplement with a nap here and there. You may find that a full night’s sleep eludes you more often than before. Your body still needs adequate rest, so be attentive to what it is asking for.
- Clean up your energy:
See what you’re leaking, meaning, see if there are things that you do or are committed to that cause you to lose your alignment whether physically (are you sitting with proper alignment at your computer?), mentally (do you have constant distractions?), or emotionally (what is tugging at your heart?). Attend to whatever you need to in order to gain more focus and quiet.
- Do something special:
Do something special for yourself or someone else. See what helps you to enliven yourself and what lights up someone you care about. It’s so rewarding, yet so simple.
These actions may seem so insignificant and small, but you may be surprised how these little changes can free up an enormous amount of personal energy.
We need to be focused and economical with our inner resources during these times of extreme turbulence and just a few simple adjustments can do the trick.
