Yes, nothing less than a miracle!
My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this past Thursday morning which is why I didn’t write last week. I was busy!!!
What a miracle life is, especially after the heartbreaking hardship of war and all that it entails. Life has a way of prevailing despite everything as well as taking care of all the details, such as the baby developing properly, my daughter being ready in mind and body for the birth, the way the birth unfolded and how we got to the hospital right on time; all of it.
Of course none of this should be taken for granted. It feels like it was so perfectly orchestrated, like a beautiful symphony coming together.
This is the way we all hope life should be.
I am so grateful for all of the miracles in my life, big and small and they happen all of the time. Some of them are little, like the phone call that comes in to answer a question I may not have even formulate in my mind yet, to the big ones, like this gorgeous being who has joined our family.
As we all settle in to including her in our lives, it seems like the beauty all around us is felt ever more deeply.
So what miracles do you have in your life? Just by posing the question to yourself, you already open a gateway for other wonderful things to come into your life. But, what is already in place that you can be grateful for? What are the tiny little things that make life so much better and joyful?
I realize that some of you may be having real hardships in your lives right now and that finding miracles among chaos and strife just doesn’t really happen.
