I consider myself to be immensely blessed, being exposed to some of the best, most inspirational teachers on the planet at this time. Sometimes I get blown away with gratitude! May this continue forever, for all of us.
This past Sunday evening, 9/11, I had the privilege of being in the presence of one of the most wonderful teachers and women alive at this time: Marianne Williamson.
It’s funny, I had the chance to be at three different lectures happening all at the same time. The first was about Mount Shasta, Telos and Lemuria which really resonates with me and I thought I would be going there, but I wasn’t getting a definite “yes” from inside, so I waited. Then one of my colleagues was offering a lecture about spirituality and the new economy – wow, yeah, let’s go to that.
THEN I heard that Marianne Williamson was going to be here in Israel and was offering a lecture evening. YES! YES! YES! is what I got. THAT was my internal teacher telling me what was in alignment with me.
It was wonderful. Marianne brought forth many concepts that I am very familiar with; many from the material in “A Course in Miracles”, which is a self study program in spiritual psychology.
The entire evening was a refocusing of concepts that I am familiar with, resonate with AND apply in my life.
Boring huh? I already knew all of it in advance.
NO WAY! It was absolutely electrically amazing, a re-confirmation of concepts and what was really special was the wonderful vibration of interconnectedness that came about in the room. We were all resonating in this wonderful vibration of oneness with each other as she brought forth these simple, dogma-less, universal concepts for us to engage in. She not only spoke about them, she brought them into the room and they were palpable. It was so lovely to feel the confirmation that we are on the right track, that love really is the answer, that respect and acceptance is the agenda of the day. That “We Are Each Other”, that “The story doesn’t change, we do”.
Oy Rhonda, really, but what about everyday life???
To me, this IS everyday life and I am willing to look like a naïve fool to engage in it and nurture it every day. I have found that my life is richer, serener, more abundant and more loving by repeatedly allowing these concepts to be the cornerstones of my experience, by choice, every day.
The way I know that it is in alignment for me is the way it feels, how joyful it is AND the amazing experiences that stream into my life as a result. The people I meet and the sychronicities that are created.
So I am glad that I listened to my inner teacher.
I have to go now. I was thinking earlier how great it would be to go to the beach or a natural spring to do a bit of cleansing of my energy system. My friend just called an hour to go to ask me if I’d like to join her at the beach….YEAH! More Please!
